·      How did the book end?
The little girl was at the house and the police came and said open the door because the knew people sold little teen age and the messing the life.
·      Were you satisfied with the ending? Why or why not?
 When the police banging the door the girls run because the didn't want to go jail. and already she was living bad life.
·      What is the author’s purpose for writing the book? What is 
his/her message to you? That don't believe anyone or do bad thing that is gonna mess tap your life and she telling the teen age go to school and learn something you will get what you like when u grow up.

·      Would you recommend this book to someone? Who would it be? My little cousin i would tell her don't hang out with bad people or don't ask people money that you don't know.

·      How did you help the group throughout the literature circles?
I would tell them the things that are good and told them how important is the life.

Lakshmi is thirteen year old who live with her family in a small village in Nepal. though she is desperately poor, her life is full of simple pleasures like playing hopscotch and she was looking for a job.
·      Explain your reaction and support it with your own experiences? if i was her i wouldn't do that job at the same time she trying help her mother and i support her because she is strong girl.

      Write your reactions to the book so far. my reaction in this book is different because the little girl is strong her an uncle sold her and she still talk to him i wouldn't talk to someone who did this.

·      Who are the main characters?Patricia Mccormick and Ama, Lakshmi, Gita, monica

·      Describe them (age, gender, race, etc.)?lakshmi 13 year old and she black-and-white

·      Where do they live?Lakshmi lives in a small village in the mountains of Nepal, with her mother (Ama), stepfather, and a young baby. They are very poor, mostly because her stepfather gambles away all of their money

·      What is the problem?she did't had money and food and she dream about to "luxury".
